E. Fazackerley Colours & Delftware: (below)
Liverpool Delftware, Lancashire County, England
Liverpool Delftware began about 1710. By 1760 there were about 12 potteries
manufacturing the delftware. One group of delftware used the "Fazackerley
colours": blue, yellow, green, red, & amethyst purple.

Plate made in Liverpool circa 1760; "Fazackerly
Flowers"; According to Rod Dowling, a floral mug was presented to Captain
Fazackerly in 1757

Years ago, Herbert Fazakerley from Canton, Massachusetts sent me a copy of an
article from "Around the Salerooms" by Huon Mallalieu. The article
stated that "mugs, plates, and tiles were the usual items to be decorated
with Fazakerley colours" and that ..."Sotheby's produced the only
known example of a Liverpool Delftware shoe". It sold for £28,230 The author stated that the palette of colours originated in
Liverpool.
